Help Spring Lake Sparkle even more this year with our inaugural Community Holiday Decoration Contest!
Gather your twinkle lights, inflatable snowmen, and singing reindeer, because it's time to deck the halls and light up our Village.
We're excited to announce that we have three categories:
- Residential
- Business
- Nonprofit/Church
So whether you're a homeowner, business owner, nonprofit director, or religious leader, we
encourage you to participate and show off your holiday spirit. Entries must be located in the
Village of Spring Lake to be eligible to win.
There will be prizes for 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place in each category for both
People's Choice and Santa's Choice. People's Choice winners will be determined by
popular vote, while Santa's Choice winners will be selected by a panel of judges.
“We are lining up lots of great prizes and awards for the winning entries,” says Sparkle
volunteer Stefanie Herder. “The top prize in the business category is 2 weeks of digital
billboard advertising on US 31 thanks to Advanced Signs.”

Then get to work on plans to decorate your home, business, or church exterior with holiday
lights and other festive decorations!
The deadline to enter is Monday, November 27th.
People’s Choice Voting Begins on Friday, December 1st.
Judging will take place on December 16th and 17th, and winners will be announced on Monday, December 20th.
We will have a variety of prizes for the winners donated by local businesses and more!
